The new Arcadis workplace in Noida was envisioned as more than a functional office. It needed to express a shared identity, strengthen collaboration across teams, and reflect a collective sense of purpose.
At the same time, the workplace had to respond to an evolving professional landscape. It was essential to create a setting that encouraged collaboration while protecting focused work, supported diverse workstyles, and aligned with Arcadis' global outlook while remaining professional and welcoming.
The challenge was not simply to design an office, but to create an environment where people, purpose, and possibilities could come together seamlessly.

The Solution
Rooted in the philosophy of The Future of Work, Shaped Around You, the design strategy centred on flexibility, comfort, and human-centric planning. Each space was carefully curated to allow individuals and teams to transition smoothly between collaboration and concentration throughout the day.
The reception was designed as a calm and welcoming threshold rather than a transactional entry point. Warm wooden panels, clean lines, and a composed material palette establish a professional yet approachable first impression. This sets the tone for a people-first culture from the moment one enters the space.
Positioned immediately beyond reception, the arrival breakout zone acts as a social pause point. Relaxed seating and vibrant visual elements encourage informal conversations and quick interactions. By integrating collaboration into the natural flow of movement, the design supports spontaneous connection and strengthens team engagement.
The workhall forms the functional core of the office. Bathed in natural light and equipped with height-adjustable desks, it supports adaptability and employee well-being. The layout balances openness with comfort, ensuring individuals can choose how they work based on their tasks and energy levels. This flexibility enhances productivity while reinforcing autonomy and trust.
Meeting spaces are designed with clarity and focus in mind. The 8-person meeting room provides an acoustically balanced environment for distraction-free discussions and idea development. The boardroom offers a refined setting for leadership dialogue and client engagements, with thoughtfully selected textures and a globally aligned design sensibility that reflect professionalism and forward thinking.
Across the workplace, intuitive spatial planning, warm materials, and access to natural light create an environment that feels contemporary, grounded, and inclusive.
